Deluxe Edition” l’ultima fatica discografica di Zucchero “Sugar” Fornaciari, disponibile in versione doppio cd, triplo vinile colorato e digitale e in triplo vinile nero autografato (in edizione limitata, in esclusiva per Amazon). Un progetto importante dunque, che racchiude tutti i brani dell’album “D.O.C.” (2019) più 6 tracce inedite tra cui “September“, il singolo in rotazione radiofonica, in cui l’artista emiliano duetta con Sting.
“Ci conosciamo da anni” – racconta Zucchero, incontrando via zoom i giornalisti, dalla stanza di un noto hotel milanese. “Sono anche padrino di sua figlia Coco e fu lui stesso a confessare di avermi scelto perché apprezzava il mio essere genuino, buono e con i piedi per terra. Forse però non sapeva” – aggiunge ridendo – “che la mattina non mi alzo prima delle 13.00. Lui, super mattiniero, volle girare il video del pezzo alle 6.30, abituato a svegliarsi all’alba perché da piccolo prima di recarsi a scuola aiutava il padre, che aveva una bottega, a distribuire il latte. Il giorno delle riprese io ero mezzo rinco mentre lui bello tonico, si era già fatto mezz’ora di piscina”!

Riscritta per l‘occasione con un testo in Italiano, ho voluto trasformare il senso originale in un concetto più attuale”.
